Official Pag-IBIG MP2 information ↗
How is this calculated?

The model uses the same assumed rate for five years. A one-time deposit earns a full year’s dividend each year. Monthly deposits use weights from 12/12 to 1/12 within each modeled year, totaling 6.5.

Annual dividend = opening balance × rate + monthly contribution × rate × 6.5. Compounded dividends are added to the next year’s balance; annual payouts are kept separate.

This is a simplified annual model, not an official account statement. It does not model your exact deposit dates, changing annual rates, early withdrawal or delayed payments.

Is the projected return guaranteed?

No. Pag-IBIG declares dividend rates annually. The rate you enter is an assumption for comparison, and actual returns may be higher or lower. This independent calculator is not affiliated with Pag-IBIG Fund.

Compounded or annual payout?

Compounding leaves dividends in your account to earn future dividends. Annual payout gives you dividends each year while your contributions stay in the account. The calculator separates these payouts from your balance at maturity.

What does the savings goal include?

Your goal is the total of contributions and estimated dividends over five years. With annual payout, it includes dividends already received, so it is not the amount left in your account at maturity. Suggested contributions round up to the nearest cent and respect the ₱500 minimum.

A quick example

At an assumed 7.12% every year, ₱5,000 a month for five years gives ₱300,000 in contributions and approximately ₱59,210.60 in compounded dividends. The estimated maturity value is ₱359,210.60. This is an illustration, not a promised return.

Monthly contributions or a one-time deposit?

Choose “Every month” to estimate 60 equal monthly contributions, or “One-time deposit” to estimate a single amount saved for the full five years. To model both together, use the lump sum + monthly calculator.

Separate what you save from what you might earn

“Your contributions” is the money you put in. “Estimated dividends” is the modeled earnings at your assumed rate. For example, ₱5,000 each month adds up to ₱300,000 in contributions over five years, before any dividends. The year-by-year breakdown shows how these amounts build up.

Reinvest dividends or receive them each year?

Reinvesting adds each year’s estimated dividends to the next year’s balance. With annual payout, dividends are received separately; the total value includes those earlier payouts, while the balance at maturity shows what remains in the account. To explore one calendar year with different deposit amounts, estimate dividends from your monthly deposit schedule.

This calculator uses one assumed rate throughout the five-year model. Actual declared rates and payment dates can change your result. These independent estimates are not guaranteed returns or official Pag-IBIG account statements.
